This policy explains what Wedding Calligraphy Academy collects when you visit this site or buy the Wedding Place Card Starter Pack, why it is collected, and what is done with it.
Who we are
This site is operated by Carlos Castro. For any privacy question, contact support@weddingcalligraphyacademy.com.
What we collect
- Your email address and name, when you buy. These are entered at Stripe’s checkout and are used to deliver your access link and to contact you about your purchase.
- Payment details. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s own secure checkout and are processed by Stripe. We never see, receive or store your card number.
- Usage data, through the Meta pixel described below: pages viewed, whether you began checkout, and whether a purchase completed.
- Anything you send us by email, which we keep so we can answer you.
Advertising and the Meta pixel
This site uses the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. It records page views, checkout starts and completed purchases, and allows us to measure our advertising and to show ads to people who have visited this site.
The pixel sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, and you can control how Meta uses your data in your Meta account’s ad preferences. Blocking them does not stop you buying or using the starter pack.
Who your data is shared with
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is the data controller for your payment details.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — advertising measurement, as described above.
- Our email and course-delivery providers — to send your access link and any purchase-related messages.
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of this site.
Your data is never sold, and it is never rented or traded to a third party for their own marketing.
How long it is kept
Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Your email address is kept for as long as you have access to the product, or until you ask for it to be deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email support@weddingcalligraphyacademy.com and it will be handled. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Deleting your data means losing access to the product, since the access link is tied to your email address.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
